ISRI’s partner, the Recycling Association of North Carolina (RANC), was honored with the 2023 Industry Partner of the Year award by the North Carolina Association of Chiefs of Police (NCACP). This recognition underscores RANC’s outstanding contributions and collaborative efforts in supporting the law enforcement community, highlighting their commitment to excellence and positive impact on the industry. RANC Secretary Robert Jordan, attended the 2024 NCACP Conference at Harrah’s Cherokee Resort on Jan. 17 and accepted the award on behalf of the organization.

In July 2014, RANC presented a $5,000 check to the North Carolina Association of Chief’s of Police (NCACP) Officer’s Board of Directors in Wilmington, North Carolina to establish the NCACP Assistance Fund. Through this dedicated fund, RANC empowers itself to provide crucial support to the families of fallen or injured officers. Annually, RANC engages in fundraising initiatives to bolster these vital resources. In 2023, RANC garnered support through 18 pledges, amplifying its commitment to honoring and assisting those who have sacrificed so much in the line of duty.
