ISRI’s Shredder Operations Forum returns this year with an emphasis on operations and maintenance of shredder equipment. This year’s Forum brings back popular activities such as a tour of a shredding facility and incorporates new features such as distance learning opportunities. Overall, the 2019 agenda will focus on new technology, trends in mobile and smaller shedders, safety and much more.
This year’s tour will be at the Ben Weitsman of New Castle shredding facility outside of Pittsburgh, PA. The tour will be the morning of the first day and will take you through the facility. Attendees can ask questions of staff and learn about the unique and interesting things the facility is doing to create the most efficient shred possible.
New This Year will be distance learning opportunities that will give registrants the ability to attend a workshop without ever leaving their business! On September 17th, members will be able to log on to ISRI’s webinar platform and participate in a workshop “New Technology and Techniques to Increase Efficiency of Downstream Shredding Systems” which will give members a “sneak peek” and experience the caliber of the speakers and content we’re bringing to this year’s Operations Forum. More information about this webinar can be found at www.isri.org/webinar.
