Demystifying the CDL Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse

Starting Monday, January 6, 2020, the new drug and alcohol related reporting requirements will spring to life for motor carriers, drivers, medical providers, and others. That's the day the FMCSA's new Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse opens for business. The Clearinghouse is an online database of information about CDL drivers' drug and alcohol violations, and it may eventually end many drivers' careers.
