Reviewing your FMCSA safety ratings is important for motor carriers. These ratings are used by potential customers, insurance companies, and competitors. The Company Snapshot is a free FMCSA service which provides a concise record of a company’s identification, size, cargo, inspection, and out-of-service summary, crash data, and safety rating. After reviewing the Company Snapshot, you can click on the SMS Results link located on the same page (top right-hand margin) and obtain more detailed carrier history, or you can sign-in with your US DOT # and PIN Login for a more confidential description that includes your company’s crash predictability and CSA Scores.
