ReMA Statement on Confirmation of Gina Raimondo as Secretary of Commerce

(Washington, DC)  - The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI) today released the following statement regarding the confirmation of Gina Raimondo as U.S. Secretary of Commerce.

ISRI congratulates Gina Raimondo on being confirmed Secretary of Commerce.  Our members have enjoyed a good partnership with her in Rhode Island, and we look forward to continuing that partnership – and our collaboration with the great staff at the Department of Commerce – to promote recycling’s essential role in the global manufacturing supply chain.  Recyclables trade is critical to realizing a truly global Circular Economy.
