This highly informative course is designed to equip recycling and dismantling professionals with the critical knowledge, skills, and abilities to safely interact with electric vehicles and Li-ion batteries. Students will receive ESA certificates of completion and IMI certification for battery pack removal and handling. The course structure provides a high-energy and interactive balance of classroom and academic sessions with practical hands-on labs at the state-of-the-art ESA/ESRG alternative energy testing lab.

Select our advance safety trainer add on below to register for an additional 3 hour training designed for safety specialist and supervisors operating at dismantling and recycling sites. Students attending this course will receive specialized training from some of the world’s leaders in electric vehicle and Li ion battery safety. This highly informative course is designed to equip recycling and dismantling supervisors with the critical knowledge, skills and abilities to safely develop and implement protocols and procedures for safely interacting with electric vehicles. Students will receive ESA certificates of completion and Call2Recycle/DOT certification in Li ion battery packing and transportation requirements.
