Terms and Conditions

By registering for this virtual ISRI event, you:               

(a) Irrevocably authorize and grant the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries, Inc. (ISRI) and its affiliate organizations the right to (i) record you during the event for audio and visual production; (ii) edit the recording for use in future ISRI events and publications; (iii) use your name and likeness (including your voice); and (iv) publish the recording online, including on ISRI’s social media platforms;

(b) Agree to release ISRI and its affiliates from any infringement claims or violations based on its use(s) of the recording;

(c) Acknowledge that ISRI owns and shall perpetually own all rights, title and interest (including copyright) in the recording;

(d) Acknowledge that ISRI is not required to use the recording and that ISRI will not be compensate any registrants for this recording;

(e) Agree not to record, reproduce, or disseminate any portion of ISRI’s event, in any form or by any means, without ISRI’s express written permission; and

(f) Acknowledge that if you are registering on another individual’s behalf, it is your responsibility to notify the person participating in the event of these terms.

(g) Agree to abide by ISRI’s Code of Conduct [Link] and Antitrust Policy [Link] as is expected at all ISRI events. 

Failure to comply with these terms and conditions may lead to removal from the virtual event and revocation of registration without refund.  ISRI reserves the right to seek additional remedies deemed appropriate at ISRI’s sole discretion.                                     

Further, ISRI is not responsible for any errors, omissions and changes to the event’s content. ISRI reserves the right to make changes, in its sole discretion, as it sees fit, without penalty.

ISRI will take all measures to conduct this event according to the schedule and dates posted. However, unlikely and unforeseen circumstances may result in schedule changes or event cancellation. Should ISRI substantially modify or cancel the event, registrants will be notified by email.

Nothing presented in the event is to be construed as legal advice and is for informational purposes only. ISRI is not responsible for any resulting actions made on the basis of the event’s content. The content and opinions expressed during the event are those of the presenters and do not necessarily represent ISRI’s views.

Refunds

Registration fees for ISRI Virtual Events are nonrefundable except in a case where the entire event is cancelled.  Individual registrations may be transferred, without charge, to another individual at the same company location.  For information on transfers, contact convention@isri.org.
