State Response to Recycling Markets to be Highlighted at NCSL Capitol Forum

This week, the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) will be holding its annual Capitol Forum in Washington, D.C. where state legislators and staff come together to tackle critical state-federal issues, gain insight from national experts, and work to craft the States’ Agenda.

On Thursday, December 6, NSCL will be holding a workshop session on the current market situation involving recyclables in light of the Chinese import restrictions and delve into ideas for how state policymakers can address the market disruptions. ISRI Chief Economist Joe Pickard, will be featured on the panel of experts. The session will be held from 2:45 – 4 p.m. in Regency B at the Capitol Hill Hyatt Regency Hotel. Registration for the conference is now closed but any ISRI member who is in town on December 6, 2018, and is interested in attending this session should contact Danielle Waterfield.
