Early this year a member-driven communications task force made several recommendations for ISRI’s communication outreach efforts. You may have noticed some changes already to several of ISRI’s other e-newsletters.
One of the recommendations was to focus more on industry-related news and to target news more to specific audiences. It is with this in mind, that at the end of the month, there will no longer be a weekly Leadership Update. It will be replaced by two additional newsletters: the ISRI Industry Wire, containing links to relevant industry news articles, and the ISRI Bale, an easy to navigate, weekly compilation of all ISRI news, upcoming events, and important deadlines. All of the information currently contained within the Leadership Update will still be available either in these new newsletters, other newsletters, and/or on the web or social media. You may have already seen an example in the new EHS Update that now contains relevant safety and environmental news in addition to the safety training tools that were traditionally enclosed. It is our hope that this improves the overall member experience and makes it easier for people to find the news relevant to their jobs and interests.
You will not need to do anything new to sign up for these newsletters. If you are currently receiving Leadership Update you will automatically be subscribed to the new offerings. You can adjust your other communications preferences on your My ISRI Communications page.
