On Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 11 a.m. (eastern), ISRI offers to members only, a discussion of the results of the 2018 midterm elections.
During a live “townhall format” ISRI VP of Government Relations Mark Reiter and Chief Lobbyist Billy Johnson will analyze the mid-terms from an industry perspective. They will explain how ISRI will respond to these changes to represent best the interests of the scrap recycling industry.
Providing this insight into the next two years will help you better understand the political and institutional challenges the industry will face in advancing your agenda. Whether it be further tax reforms, labor shortages, or transportation problems, we will try to explain how the elections will impact these important issues. We will also entertain questions from the audience about the industry’s advocacy program in light of the election results. It is our pleasure to show you the dynamics of how ISRI represents you in Washington. We will also explain how, by utilizing your help as advocates, we can achieve many more successes for you and the industry.
