The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) released last week its annual report to Congress about China’s compliance with its World Trade Organization (WTO) obligations.
ISRI submitted comments for the report, and as a result, the industry’s concerns with China’s changing import regulations were featured. The report is a catalogue of trade concerns perceived to be a result of shortcomings in China’s adherence to global trade rules as a member of the WTO. It is reviewed by members of Congress, giving the industry another vehicle for which to draw attention to our concerns with China’s regulations.
