The 2017 Recycling Industry Yearbook was recently released, providing the most up-to-date information and statistics about the global scrap recycling industry.
This resource has become the encyclopedia for the recycling industry, providing readers with comprehensive industry statistics on volumes processed, value, exports, and more for each of the major commodities. It also gives an overview of what the scrap industry actually is, how it has evolved and operates, and the scope of the tremendous economic and environmental benefits the industry generates for the United States and the planet. It has once again been translated into both Chinese and Spanish.
Printed copies were distributed at the 2017 Commodities Roundtable Forum in Chicago and a complimentary copy is being mailed to ISRI members this month. For more information about the Yearbook, contact ISRI Chief Economist Joe Pickard. Additional copies can be ordered by contacting Michelle Mathis.
