Attend ISRI’s Shredder Operations Forum and Stay for a Full Day of Free Safety Hazard Training

ISRI’s 2017 Shredder Operations Forum in Indianapolis is fast approaching.

The Forum was created to bring together new and experienced employees involved in the operations and maintenance of shredders used in recycling operations. Personnel attending this program will gain information they can put in place the day they return to the facility.

Kicking off the two day event will be a tour of an Omnisource facility. The tour will take attendees through the yard and have and give them an opportunity to ask Omnisource operations personnel questions. The Operations Forum scrap yard tour has traditionally been the highlight of the event and this year is no different. The tour is scheduled for the morning of October 16, before the program begins its workshops.

As an added bonus, ISRI is sponsoring a full day of safety training on October 18 and will cover hazard recognition, good housekeeping practices, fire hazard recognition, and a host of other important safety training concepts.

Ensuring your employees return home each night safe and unscathed is the most important aspect of running a scrap facility. This FREE full day training course given by ISRI’s Safety Department can help train employees in the importance of working safely.
