Build Lasting Relationships at ISRI’s Industry Leadership Training Program

On November 4 and 5, ISRI will host its Industry Leadership Training Program at its headquarters in Washington, DC.

The Leadership Training Program is a great way to get your new managers and those in line for management promotions trained on how to run a scrap yard. The program will review all facets of scrap yard operations – from buying and selling scrap, to accounting and finance, environmental law and compliance as well as understanding HR compliance issues. The program has tapped the experience and expertise of veterans from across the industry to impart their knowledge and train a new generation of scrap recyclers on the basics of running a scrap yard.

In addition to interactive classroom training, the Industry Leadership Training Program will also give your employees the opportunity to network with others in the industry. Over the years, we’ve received dozens of comments from attendees that have remarked that the conversations at our receptions and the relationships they forge over dinner or drinks at the bar have provided invaluable information they have been able to implement right away. This networking time will allow your employees to “compare notes” and find out what others are doing to solve the really big problems impacting their company, and those that might be more mundane. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions before, during, and after the program ends.

ISRI hosts this program every other year so if you skip this year, you’ll have to wait to 2019 to get another shot at providing your managers this type of experience. Don’t miss out on giving your team the opportunity to find out what is happening in the industry and how you can take advantage of new trends and techniques. With the lowest registration fee in years, we are keeping our promise to be mindful of your pocketbook. Visit the ISRI website for more information and help keep your company competitive and on the cutting edge of the industry.
