ISRI’s Shredder Operations Forum is the place to be to learn how to maintain and operate shredders – from those used to shred cars, to those used to shred tires and electronics.
The program was created to bring together new and experienced employees involved in the operations and maintenance of shredders used in recycling operations. Personnel attending this program will gain information they can put in place the day they return to the facility.
New this year is a track devoted solely to single and dual shaft shredders commonly found in tire, plastic, and electronics operations. This track will step participants through all phases of maintaining this equipment. The Shredder Operations Forum has sessions that will focus on developing routine maintenance schedules, developing major rebuild maintenance schedules, maintaining drives and controls, and a session that will look at benchmarking in order to maximize the efficiency of the equipment.
ISRI has redesigned the program to be more efficient and less costly to attend without sacrificing the quality of the educational sessions. This year’s Forum will help anyone involved with the various aspects of running and maintaining this equipment stay up-to-date on the latest trends and ideas prevalent in the industry. The program also puts a premium on networking and gives attendees ample time to discuss ideas amongst themselves and the exhibitors that will be on hand to answer questions.
