There is still time to donate to the Recycling Research Foundation’s 2017 Silent Auction.
The deadline to submit a donation form has been extended until March 24. All donated items must arrive at the ISRI office by March 31.
This year donors will be recognized for their support with ribbons on their badges, in addition to signage at the silent auction, donors’ booth, during the opening general session, and on the ISRI convention website. In addition, exhibitors at the ISRI Convention can keep their donation at the booth, driving more traffic to the exhibitor’s booth. Instead of displaying the item in the auction area, we will put a table top sign describing the item and a note directing attendees to the actual item at the exhibitor’s booth.
Popular items donated in the past include scrap art, hotel packages, equipment and tools, and fashion accessories, among other items. The auction raises money to support a variety of efforts that help strengthen the recycling industry. Please consider donating an item, or reach out to local businesses in your community to request donations. A number of silent auction resources are available to help solicit donations from local businesses.
Contributions to the Recycling Research Foundation are tax deductible. If you have questions about how to make a donation or for more information about how you can help, please contact Natasha Grant.
