PSI’s Paper Summit SPECtacular (April 26 & 27) at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans is your opportunity to have your voice heard!
Held in conjunction with ISRI’s Annual Convention and Exposition, the specs summit will give paper recyclers the opportunity to network, discuss and contribute to the important conversation regarding ISRI’s paper scrap specs. PSI has engaged in a multi-year effort to upgrade these specs to ensure they represent the markets as they exist today. At the specs summit, discussions will center around moisture, downgrades, and rejections. These dynamic breakout sessions will give participants to contribute their thoughts and opinions to what the specs should look like in 2017 and beyond. Other sessions will focus on moisture protocols and the importance of the preamble.
Brian Taylor of Recycling Today Media Group will be Friday’s luncheon speaker. He will be presenting on the reaction of Asian countries to the potential changes coming from the new administration and how any probable changes may affect scrap material exports to Asia.
Attendees of the SPECtacular can celebrate the achievements and career of Crawford Carpenter as he receives ISRI’s Lifetime Achievement Award. Those that choose to purchase a full registration badge will also be able to tour the exhibit hall and talk to the 200+ exhibitors that are in attendance. These folks can also participate in programming being held on April 25, such as a comprehensive track of plastics programming as well as workshops focusing on management and leadership.
