Customers and the motoring
public are constantly observing how safe your drivers work and drive. The ISRI
Transportation Safety Awards reflect the value and importance that the industry
places on vehicle safety by recognizing the top performers in the field, both
at individual and company levels. The awards are presented during ISRI’s Annual
Convention. Individuals and company fleets are recognized in the following
areas:
- The Safe Driver
Award recognizes outstanding drivers from ISRI member companies
who have driven a minimum of 20 years without a preventable accident. One
driver is selected as the ISRI Safe Driver of the Year (second and third
place award recipients are also recognized).
- The Fleet Safety
Award recognizes ISRI member companies with the most progressive,
effective fleet safety programs. This program consists of two award
categories (Best in Class and Pacesetter). Small,
intermediate, medium, and large company fleets are recognized.
- The Golden Wrench
Award goes to the best heavy vehicle maintenance technician or
manager who exhibits outstanding efforts, achievements, and contributions
to ensure that commercial motor vehicles are safe on the road. One
technician is selected as the Golden Wrench Award winner (second and third
place award recipients are also recognized).
All entries must be submitted between: January
1, 2017 – February 28, 2017. Award winners will be announced during
the 2017 ISRI Convention in New Orleans. For more information visit the ISRI
