Joe Pickard serves as the Chief Economist and Director of Commodities at The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries, Inc. (ISRI). Since 2010, Pickard has conducted research and analysis on commodity and scrap market developments and the key economic role recycling plays both in the U.S. and globally. Pickard regularly provides economic and recycling market updates to ISRI members, industry associations, policymakers, the press, and other external audiences.
