Handling, packaging, and transporting automotive batteries can be highly dangerous without the proper training. Make sure your company is keeping employees, customers, and others safe. This virtual event will cover the regulatory background, history, and the proper handling of Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) auto and other SLA batteries. Those attending will gain a better understanding of the differences between lithium and lead batteries destined for recycling, and the dangers of including lithium batteries in a lead battery recycling stream. Tod Lyons, the sustainability program manager for Interstate Batteries Recycling of Dallas, Texas will be guiding you through the presentation moderated by ISRI Transportation Safety Director Commodor Hall.
