The mission of the Hispanic Safety Forum is to build a community among safety professionals in recycling with a specific focus of improving safety and engagement with the Spanish-speaking workforce. With this in mind the forum will be focused on the following outcomes:
- Providing a means for sharing Spanish-language tools and safety resources
- Identifying and addressing translation shortfalls
- Identifying and addressing potential cultural gaps when engaging Hispanic workers
- Creating networking opportunities for sharing ideas and best practices with industry counterparts
The forum is an informal discussion group and is open to all ISRI members, other trade associations, and similar stakeholders. Companies that are not ISRI members are encouraged to request a waiver by emailing Scott Wiggins at firstname.lastname@example.org .
