Up until recently, ISRI offered free “OSHA 10-hour Training” at member facilities.  This was a 2-day program certified by OSHA addressing a range of issues affecting the industry, as well as some topics that didn’t affect the industry but were still required by OSHA to obtain the certification.  Recent changes made by OSHA in the mandatory elements of the OSHA 10-Hour Training program prompted us to move away from the branded “OSHA 10-Hour Training,” and instead offer our own customized 10-Hour training program.  This change allows ISRI Safety to more effectively tailor two-day training sessions to the specific needs of individual members.

Participants choose from a menu of training topics that includes, but is not necessarily limited to:

  • OSHA Basics
  • back injuries
  • LOTO
  • confined space
  • PPE
  • fall protection
  • walking/working surfaces
  • HazCom/GHS
  • machine guarding
  • respiratory protection
  • blood-borne pathogens
  • industrial hygiene
  • fire protection
  • safety management
  • employee involvement
  • accident investigation
  • radiation training
  • materials handling
  • hearing protection
