Monday Report: June 29, 2009
This morning's LME is generally firmer (ex-tin and zinc) but said to trading "cautiously" in the absence of any fresh news...Monday's drawdown in copper stocks supportive...aluminum inventories, meanwhile, increased 5,075 mt. Comex copper expected to open on the plus side...

Friday Report: June 26, 2009
The metals put in another strong day yesterday with gains seen across the board led by copper's rise to $5,145 up from Tuesday's low of $4,680. The extent of the reversal from Monday/Tuesday means that a run up to the highs at $5,380 looks very possible and the mantra of buy the dips still holds true.

Monday Report: June 15, 2009
Monday's LME was sharply lower and said to be influenced by the firmer dollar. Market bears are wondering, however, whether further consolidations in commodities and equities at the start of this week signals the beginning of a much larger overdue pullback in both markets. We'll know soon enough...

Monday Report: May 18, 2009
This morning, the LME is mostly weaker as traders continue to express doubts about overall global consumption prospects and whether China's appetite for raw materials has cooled...add to that a stronger dollar thereby giving sellers the upper hand. Comex copper is expected to open flat to slightly higher this a.m.
